I’ll take one really hardcore nice Blade. I think it fits her character much more. I can even imagine that she may have never fired a rifle or sidearm as she was pushed directly into admin work and they didn’t really see it as necessary. What do you see as a “really hardcore nice Blade”? I was perusing the Central Supply Catalog and I got an idea. Let's make this a Static Blade. Same as a Static Sword, only in a smaller format and slightly different style. So we'll give it 3d6 damage and have it ignore the first two points of armor. In addition to that, we'll make it of exquisite quality. So the hilt and scabbard are both made of incredibly nice materials, maybe with some gold leafing on it as well. Maybe the blade is a patterned damascus type polymer. I'll even take it one step further and say that the scabbard has tech incorporated that recharges it with your normal everyday movement. So its constantly recharging as you walk about the ship. We'll say that it was given to you when you retired for a storied Naval Career. Sound good?

Sounds excellent! I quite like it, and it’s an excellent marking of her SOC 11, too.

Yeah, in terms of basic stats its the same as a normal Blade. The only thing that changed is its composition, damage, and the armor reduction.

Here’s what I’m gleaning as the stats, then, and I even found a pretty cool image: Weapon
| Tech Level | Required Skill | Damage | Heft | Mass | Special | Yara’s Static Blade | 12 | Melee (blade) | 3d6 | 0 | 1kg | Ignore first 2 points of armor // exquisite quality |

Now I just need to go sort out all of my Contacts. How are we handling connections?

Now I just need to go sort out all of my Contacts. How are we handling connections? I'd like each character to have at least 2 connections. There's a thread that Genhuman started for folks to post their summaries and then hash out those connections. Once your 2 requisite connections are made, each of will agree upon a skill and as long as I don't think its kinda crazy... then you each get a rank of it.
