Added BillRoper's PC Yara to the work sheet.
Feel free to be connected to me in any way Bill. With all of Yara's tours and contacts, we could have met in any number of ways.

Hey Yojimbo. As it seems our characters are of an age with each other, and both of our first terms were with the Army (support) want to form a connection there, and perhaps we were in the same unit, or maybe even battle buddies? Same unit sounds good. I got +1 Soc from my first tour, so I figured Val had been assigned to his CO's command support group, which helped to drag him up from his starting Soc of 4! As my second term event was a brutal ground war, I came up with the unit being a spearhead battalion, the Fighting 95th, "First In, Last Out". The 95th is one of the units that makes planetfall first, sets up a beachhead for the following formations, and starts patrolling and clearing the local area. My second term saw the 95th encounter a previously undetected insectoid civilization (similar to the Arachnids from Starship Troopers), who cut them off and assaulted them constantly until they could be extracted (Val lost his left arm below the elbow, and was medically discharged). Sound good?

I like it. Neither of us is sure exactly where our relationship stands, so lots of subtle tension. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk @sirguido wants us to pick a skill that we both get a rank in. I'm feeling either Deception or Persuade are probably good choices.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have a rank in both, so either is good for me. I’m assuming your character had a cover while infiltrating the Tarovskiy family. Would I only know you as that, or do I know your real ID? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Sounds good, seeing Carlos to rule out any psychological causes for KC's maladies. Up to you if you want to be treated for PTSD or something else... That sounds like a plan. Perhaps you suggested PTSD treatment, but it's still up in the air if I will continue, but you still keep in contact to keep pushing it? I am thinking on upping my Persuade for a skill on this one. Will update my PC tomorrow, however. As I am heading to bed. Do we have to take the same skill?

Added Marty's PC Cryn to the workbook sheet. Hey, possible connections to me if you like, we both started in the merchant marines at the same time, maybe we were in the same class, but got sent to separate duties when you flunked out of cake baking? Also: Byldddreug, if you don't like that skill, feel free to suggest another. If we can't come to an agreement, well, there are a number of us, and no hard feelings. After all, it is a game.

Persuade is fine, just wanted to make sure of what the options are!

[I'll just throw out some possible connections and we can see what works.] Thanks for tracking all of this, KC (Genhuman) ! I was looking at the same connection between Cryn and KC, although I prefer to think that Cryn had no problems with cake-baking; it was Bedmaking 102 that he couldn't pass :-). How about we served on the same vessel for a while. And then we cross paths again in our most recent term: perhaps I worked, per my connection with the Senator from the agricultural sector, to get a steady supply of produce for your business. Nothing too criminal: just fast-tracking paperwork for an old shipmate. Nathan 'Val' Valentine --In Val's third term (Cryn's second) we both get involved in the underside of the Homesteader. Could we have crossed paths during this time, possibly "representing" buyers and sellers for the purloined goods Cryn was moving? We could both have the same crime boss as an Ally (or maybe rival crime bosses), or we engaged in some crime together in the next terms. billroper --In our most recent term we could have worked together during the medical emergency; me, representing civilian authorities tasked with assisting the Navy's relief effort. Anybody else?
